Corporate dweller by day and fiction writer by night, C.Y. Stewart is a multi-cultural storyteller whose work has been published in multiple languages.

C.Y. Stewart is a multi-cultural storyteller whose work has been published in multiple languages. Born and raised in China, C.Y. endured a very humble childhood, naturally immersed in Asian culture through her formative years. Through focused efforts, she studied Chinese Literature and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Peking University. In 2014, she immigrated to the United States in pursuit of her dreams. In 2019, C.Y. founded Cold Ridge Publishing in Missouri, USA. The company’s mission is to demonstrate, through cross-cultural literature, that we all share a common human story.

In some of her works, you can often glimpse a hint of oriental myth narration, which lends her writing a unique perspective and style. In her well-acclaimed Carrie and Steve Series, she employs a combination of western humor and adrenaline-pumping suspense, while exploring the possibilities of supernatural myth, modern day science, and the unpredictable facets of humanity.

She currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, Steve, and their dog, Yulo.

R. W. Venn is a professor of Business and History.  He considers writing as one of his many pursuits, along with traveling, reading and playing very bad golf.  He lives in western St. Louis County with his artistic wife, Lisa, and his dog, Koda, a husky who is the actual master of the house.
